This is the beautiful scene that took place on January 5 at 6 pm. Our youngest of two boys married a beautiful girl he's been dating since high school. He is the same age my husband and I were when we married. As I sat and watched them, listening to the pastor's message on marriage, hearing them make their promises to one another, I reflected on my own marriage and all that has taken place in the nearly 23 years. The emotions are HUGE, but in such a blessed way.
My husband and I now have an empty nest. It will be a time of major adjustment for us, but we expect it to be a joyful time simply because there has already been so much JOY.
Thank you for stopping by.
I am still very much focused on family right now...our oldest son and his family are here from Montana...but the art will be coming again soon!
♥ Lisa
