Our Son Got Married!

This is the beautiful scene that took place on January 5 at 6 pm.  Our youngest of two boys married a beautiful girl he's been dating since high school.  He is the same age my husband and I were when we married.  As I sat and watched them, listening to the pastor's message on marriage, hearing them make their promises to one another, I reflected on my own marriage and all that has taken place in the nearly 23 years.  The emotions are HUGE, but in such a blessed way.

My husband and I now have an empty nest.  It will be a time of major adjustment for us, but we expect it to be a joyful time simply because there has already been so much JOY.

Thank you for stopping by.
I am still very much focused on family right now...our oldest son and his family are here from Montana...but the art will be coming again soon!

♥ Lisa

  24. Wow Lisa! That is wonderful! Congratulations! So exciting, I wish them both happiness and a joyful marriage. It must feel strange to have an empty nest but I'm sure you'll soon find it the new normal and enjoy having them visit.

Have fun with your family who is visiting. See... never really alone, they always come back.
