Small Paintings and a How the Finding Faith Project is Going

Wendy With a Watering Can
oil on panel 6 x 6 inch
(sold)
You can probably tell from my color palette that I am excited Spring has arrived.  I've been very busy in the flowerbeds cleaning them out, digging and planting.  Mud on my shoes makes me happy.  I was outside from 10 am to 9 pm yesterday, so obviously the progress on my next Finding Faith painting is moving along VERY slowly.  I did these small paintings over the last three weeks or so.  I am loving oil paints right now and vibrant colors.  I am working on new ways to paint flowers...always a challenge for me.

Here's a little teaser from the next Finding Faith video (the music you hear in this snippet will not be a part of it).  The photos and video turned out great and the 30 x 24 inch painting is coming along.  It might be another couple of weeks before I am done.  If you have no idea what the Finding Faith project is click HERE.

  1. Ah someone else who is happy digging in the dirt all day. I had one of those days last week. All I can day is you at least are getting more painting done than me...all of which are wonderful might I add. Looks like your love of the garden is present in all these works too. Have a great day. Hugs!

    1. Hi Fuzzie fingers! I think Wendy is the favorite of many, she got a lot of love on facebook. You never know. She was originally a sketch in my "sketchbook sweetie" book. I thought it was about time I painted it with it being Spring. Thanks for your comment!

  4. Hi sweet Lisa - gardening eh? Well you have a wonderful area to make even more beautiful. I can see you and Mr Pilot sitting out in the evenings admiring your handiwork.
Love all the paintings, and, yes, Wendy is special. I do like your flowers/vases very much too. I can see a series of those being a natural.
Have a wonderful and creative week, dear friend.

  7. I must have missed the first post about finding Faith--I just went back and read it--your painting is just wonderful and I love the Wyeth like setting!! Beautiful job! I used to love to work in my gardens and would work all day--love the smell of dirt and watching every day to see what new little buds or plants will re emerge from the ground. Now we live in a condo--no garden--my back couldn't take it anymore anyway but I miss being able to go out and pick a bouquet any time I want.

  13. This type of shows up absolutely excellent. Most of these smaller specifics are set up as well as lots of record being familiar with. I like this specific quite a lot. hyperrealism artist piskunov
