Jovialities mixed media on canvas 14 x 14 inch |
This new painting along with many others was just delivered to Tessera Gallery here in Wichita. A happy painting to go with a happy mood on the day I painted it not long ago.
I wish ALL days were like that...for everyone. Don't you?
Thank you for visiting!
This is a really neat still life - particularly love the pattern areas mixed with textural brush stroke. Good you had a happy daya. Hope many more -flowing into each other.
ReplyDeleteYou deserve them
Thank you Julie. I really appreciate that.
DeleteThe pattern areas are torn pieces of scrapbook paper showing through. Just a little bit of Windex or rubbing alcohol and the acrylic paint comes right off.
Oh wow...what a great hint for me to try. Love the end result.
DeleteThanks, my friend.
Beautifully painted Lisa! Very nice setup!
ReplyDeleteThank you Hilda...just some of my favorite things...flowers, art and coffee.
